She’s Leaving Home

April 12, 2017 – I’m in the middle of crowdfunding a new album “The Projektor” and would love to have your support! Here’s my solo bass version of one of my favourite Beatles songs “She’s Leaving Home”. This song reminds me of my Mom and the stories she would tell about leaving home at an early age.

Strings (D’Addario/Ernie Ball/DR)

People always ask me what kind of strings I’m using and how I feel each differ from one another, and usually it’s all based on personal preference.  Well, I made this video so you can make the comparison and find out which string best suits your bassing needs. Enjoy!

Solo EP

The Projektor, Alex St. Kitts' debut solo ep will launch in early November with the single 'Believe'

This is something I’ve wanted to do this for a long time. Write an album that really speaks to the heart, tells stories and is above all, honest. It will consist of 3 different EPs over the course of the year, all with a different feeling/vibe. I started writing new material around 2012, dug up some older songs I never got a chance to record, and recruited some of my amazing friends to come play, such as KC Roberts (KC Roberts & The Live Revolution), Chino De Villa (KC Roberts & The Live Revolution, Yuka), Alex Ernewein (The Brothers, DJ Howmuchistoomuch) & many others. I also have the pleasure to work with Max River who is helping produce, and engineer Gabe Gallucci to get the sound exactly right. The first segment of “The Projektor” will be released in the New Year (2015).  Stay tuned.
